Our client is a popular global brand that’s rapidly expanding their sites.
They originally commissioned the Savannah Environmental Consultancy team following concerns they had about their trade effluent – being discharged from one site – which was high in Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) and had imbalanced PH levels.
Out of due diligence, our client tasked us with auditing 14 of their UK sites to assess the environmental compliance status of each and provide our findings and recommendations.

Nationwide Site Surveys
We delivered comprehensive site surveys at 14 different premises nationwide to assess the environmental compliance status of each site.
Test Analysis
We performed test analysis on trade effluent samples – before and after mitigation actions – to assess their effectiveness.

We identified many quick wins related to their business practices that will reduce their impact on the environment even further.

Preventive Maintenance Programme
We provided several detailed recommendations to mitigate the impact of trade effluent being discharged. From fitting floor mounted mesh screens over their internal drains, to implementing a Chemical Toxicology Review System so their cleaning products are less acidic.
