Helping a global brand achieve environmental compliance

Our client is a global brand specialising in the testing, inspection, and certification of vehicles – amongst other things. They operate out of 70 countries and employ 23,000+ people worldwide.

They approached the Savannah Environmental Consultancy team for help with permit applications for waste and trade effluent discharges. On top of that, they asked us to implement ISO 14001:2015 from scratch.

Key Facts

What we did for them

ISO Implementation

We set up a brand-new environmental management system (ISO 14001:2015), implemented it across the organisation, and provided ongoing support.

Policy Creation

We delivered a range of end-to-end workstreams to deploy ISO 14001:2015. From policy creation and procedure changes to training and mock audits.

Site Audits

We identified the need for waste exemption applications through site audits, and submitted and secured them as a result.

Consent Application Submission

We reviewed the onsite trade effluent discharges. Then we prepared and submitted trade effluent discharge consent applications to the local water company which were approved.

F Gas Register

We set up an F Gas register, deployed it across the business, and trained our client on how to maintain the register going forward.

Testimonial

“The exercises performed really helped to provide clarity and direction to a project very much in its infancy. The face-to-face visits really helped us to know that Savannah truly understood the needs of the organisation and that a balance was struck between what is needed and what is ‘nice to have’.

We appreciate the continued after support given post-delivery of the GAP analysis and will work with Savannah in the future for environmental solutions.”
